Answer:

• With the receiver down, press the trsf key followed by 200
• Enter code 1234, followed by 1
• Press the speaker key and enter 505
• Your screen will now display: OLD: 2 0 9 0 5 0 6: 1 3 2 7  <br />NEW:WMMDDYY: HHMM
• You can now enter the new information. (W indicates the day of the week - 1 for Monday, 2 for Tuesday etc.)
• Follow with month MM, date DD, year YY, hour HH and minutes MM
  
  · When completed press the trsf key to save
  
  · Your time an date information will now be correct on all display telephones

Connecting the headset

Unplug your telephone from the wall socket.

Remove the curly handset cord from the socket on the underside of the telephone (you may need a small flat bladed screwdriver, or similar, to release the plug retaining lever)

Plug the headset lower cable (or the bi-way box lower cable if you are using it) into this socket locating the cable into the retaining lugs on the underside of the telephone.

If using the bi-way box, plug the headset and handset cables into the relevant sockets (these are identified by headset and handset symbols)

Connect the headset upper cable to the headset lower cable.

Reconnect your telephone to the wall socket.

Programming the handset for headset use

Place the handset its rest.

Press the transfer key

Press 110

Press the volume key repeatedly until the display shows HEADSET USE: OFF

Of the three keys under the display, press the right hand key. The display will show HEADSET USE: OFF

Press the volume key once. The display will show HEADSET USE: ON

Of the three keys under the display press the right hand key

Press the transfer key

Using the headset

You should now be able to use the answer release key (or speaker key on latest handsets) to answer and release calls as required.

Answer:

• With the handset down, press the transfer key and dial 104
• The cursor will now appear under the first character of the existing name (if entered).
• Use the number keypad to enter your name. For example, to enter JOHN press 5 once, 6 three times, 4 twice and 6 twice.
• To move the cursor to the next letter, press the + volume key
• Press the transfer key to store the name.
